What types of displays are available, and how do they differ?

Wir offer two options:

Functional displays with a roller stand: Ideal if you want to not only display your locomotives but also demonstrate their mechanics in action. This lets you activate the drive without having to set up a track.
Displays with track grooves: The perfect choice if you want to showcase your locomotive exclusively. The recessed grooves keep the model secure and protected, making it look like a small museum piece.

What are the advantages of the Plexiglas® cover on the Lok display cases?

Plexiglas® not only provides a brilliant all-around view, but also protects your models in several ways:

UV-protection: prevents colors and lettering from fading
Dust protection: the tightly sealed cover preserves even the most delicate details
Clarity & elegance: The material has a high-quality appearance, is distortion-free, and is particularly durable

Can I also light up the displays?

Yes, starting with H0 scale, our displays can be equipped with integrated LED lighting upon request. This allows you to highlight details such as cabs, lettering, or technical features even more impressively. The LEDs are energy-efficient, long-lasting, and installed in such a way that they illuminate the models optimally without causing glare.

Sind die Displays schwer zu handhaben?

Ganz im Gegenteil: Unsere Vitrinen sind so konzipiert, dass du deine Lok schnell und unkompliziert platzieren kannst. Einfach aufstellen, Lok hineinsetzen und – falls gewünscht – Beleuchtung oder Rollenprüfstand aktivieren. Kein langes Aufbauen notwendig.

Für wen eignen sich die Funktions-Displays besonders?

Sie sind ideal für Sammler und Technikfreunde, die nicht nur die Optik, sondern auch die Funktionalität ihrer Modelle zeigen möchten. Passen alle Lokomotiven in die Displays?

Nein, unsere Lok-Vitrinen sind exakt auf die Maße einiger Spurweiten abgestimmt. So ist das Basic Display mit Spurrillen in den Varianten: Z, N, TT, H0, 0, 1 und G erhältlich, während es das Funktions-Display mit Rollenprüfstand nur für die Spurweiten H0, 0, 1 und G gibt. Beide Modelle bekommst du aber jeweils in unterschiedlichen Längen, sodass theoretisch für fast jede Lokomotive eine passende Lösung dabei sein sollte. Falls du unsicher, welche Ausführung am besten passt, beraten wir dich gerne persönlich.

Wie reinige ich die Vitrine, ohne sie zu beschädigen?

Die glatten Plexiglas®-Oberflächen lassen sich am besten mit einem weichen Baumwolltuch reinigen. Auf aggressive Reiniger oder raue Schwämme solltest du verzichten, damit die Oberflächen klar und glänzend bleiben. Sind die Lok-Vitrinen auch für die dauerhafte Präsentation geeignet?
